Land at Chek Lap Kok, meet the transfer, and check in across the harbour in Kowloon. The evening is yours: walk the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade to the Avenue of Stars and watch the 8 pm Symphony of Lights play across the towers opposite — the free show every first-time visitor should see first.

Across on the Star Ferry the old way, then up Victoria Peak on the 1888 funicular to the Sky Terrace and the whole harbour at your feet. The afternoon works down through the island — the double-decker trams, the Man Mo temple thick with incense coils, and the Mid-Levels escalator. Evening free for Temple Street’s hawker lanes.

The Ngong Ping 360 cable car crosses the bay and the green spine of Lantau to the Tian Tan Buddha — 268 steps up to thirty-four metres of bronze, with the Po Lin monastery’s vegetarian kitchen below for lunch. Back in the city, the evening belongs to Mong Kok: the goldfish street, the sneaker street and the neon.

An hour’s ferry ride and you are in four-hundred-year-old Portugal. The guided walk covers the Ruins of St Paul’s, Senado Square’s wave-tiled pavement, the A-Ma temple the city is named for, and an egg-tart stop at a Taipa bakery. Check into the hotel, then the Cotai strip after dark — fountains, light shows and free resort shuttles between them all.

A slow morning for the Taipa village lanes or the hotel pool, then the ferry back across the delta straight to Hong Kong International — the sea route docks inside the airport, so there is no second immigration queue in the city. Not in the usual sense. Hong Kong needs a free online Pre-arrival Registration, which we file and print for you; Macau stamps Indian passport holders in on arrival at no charge. Carry the PAR printout on every entry — including the ferry back from Macau — because immigration wants paper, not a phone screen.
At this park, yes. Hong Kong Disneyland is the most compact in the world, and in the Oct–Dec season weekday queues rarely pass twenty minutes. Arrive at opening, and a family covers every land plus the parade and fireworks in one day. If your children want a second park day, add the Ocean Park ticket at booking.
Less than almost anywhere in the far east. Buddhist vegetarian restaurants are a genuine local tradition, the Po Lin monastery lunch on day 4 is fully vegetarian, and Tsim Sha Tsui — where you stay — has a row of Indian restaurants within walking distance. Ask for “jai” dishes to avoid hidden fish and oyster sauce.
No, and most of our guests never enter a gaming floor. The Macau day is the UNESCO old town, the Portuguese food and the light shows on the Cotai strip, all of which are free to walk. Casinos admit only guests aged 21 and over in any case, so families naturally stay on the resort and old-town side.
